The Congress will be held at the Sydney Convention and Exhibition Centre, Darling Harbour.  This large purpose-built facility is set in 50 hectares of parks, gardens, museums, shopping malls and amusement areas. Nestled on the shores of Darling Harbour, the venue has magnificent views of the city and is only a short walk to several attractions. The Convention Centre is conveniently located within close proximity to the CBD and hotels within the area.

 

Getting There

Getting to the Sydney Convention and Exhibition Centre is easy with a wide range of transport available. There are a number of accommodation properties located in Darling Harbour which allow for a short walk to the Sydney Convention and Exhibition Centre. By Car
There is a secure parking station located under the Sydney Convention and Exhibition Centre which can be entered from Darling Drive, Darling Harbour. For further information on parking at the Sydney Convention and Exhibition Centre, please visit their website.

There is also a taxi rank located just beside the Sydney Convention and Exhibition Centre which allows for easy access to the venue. There are taxis in this area at all times of day and night.

On Foot
The Sydney Convention and Exhibition Centre is an easy ten-minute walk from Sydney’s CBD, Pyrmont and Haymarket. There are pedestrian bridges leading to Darling Harbour from Market, Druitt, Bathurst and Liverpool Street in the city and Union Street in Pyrmont.

By Train and Bus
Sydney’s major public transport networks, CityRail and STA Buses connect with all major pedestrian access point into Darling Harbour.

By Sydney Monorail and Metro Light Rail Transport
Darling Harbour and the Sydney Convention and Exhibition Centre are easily accessible by Sydney Monorail or Metro Light Rail. These two unique transport systems connect passengers to Darling Harbour from the city and inner Western suburbs. There is a station located directly behind the Sydney Convention and Exhibition Centre named ‘Convention Centre Station’, this station provides the easiest access for delegates to reach the venue.

By Water
If you are staying in Sydney’s Circular Quay area, there are regular Sydney Ferries running from Circular Quay to the Sydney Aquarium and Maritime Museum wharves, alternatively there is also a range of Water Taxi services.
